The CAT349D main pump is intended for use in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. In the chemical processing industry, the pump can be used for high temperature, oil-in-water applications, and non-corrosive chemicals. A centrifugal cast iron volute and a cast iron impeller are used in this pump series. The plastic steel base, which can also have a surface gasket, can be installed at the outlet connection of the vertical suction flange or the horizontal drainage flange.
